The VisionTime system from FlexTime in conjunction with the Gallagher Access Control System, brings a fresh approach to the management of Time Recording and Employee Scheduling (Rostering).
By now offering a joint access control and time recording solution, the working times and the health and safety of employees - plus security issues can all be managed together.
For example, if you need an access control solution and also to record time for payroll or say for flexitime and/or staff scheduling purposes, then there is now need for you to buy devices for both subjects.
Thus as the employee records entry or exit at the Gallagher access control readers at doors or barriers - it can simultaneously record time in our VisionTime system. Equally it's also possible to mix access control devices with other forms of "clocking" -e.g. P.C.s, P.C. Tablets, Time Terminals, Touch Screens, Mobile Phones.
VisionTime can be used for getting critical “realtime” information in the event of an emergency such calling up roll call reports.
There is also a feature whereby staff names are shown on large wall mounted PC screens.
If they are in, then the coloured box beside their name displays green if they are out it displays red.
The system also encourages the involvement of Staff, Supervisors and Senior Management in the use of new electronic and real-time techniques to manage vital workforce activity.

In another example, also in Holland, the Gallagher Access Control system is in use in a refuge against domestic violence, securing the complex. In addition, information captured from the Gallagher system, is displayed by the VisionTime system at large TV screens and P.Cs. This way, those with responsiblity for the safe running of the complex, know if the residents are in or out. The staff and supervisors at the complex use VisonTime for managing their flexible working environment.
