Time Terminals - Trax Time

Features Include
- Optional Biometric reading by Fingerprint
- Real Time transfer of clockings from Trax Time Terminal to the VisionTime software
Time data is therefore available at your P.C. and Network instantly in Real Time - irrespective of distance or location. A full display shows the employee his/her time balance at any time and he/she can use any Terminals designated to him/her, with each Terminal being interactive with other Terminals. Trax Time are LAN Terminals communicating over TCPIP, so they do not need any separate wiring.
Ways to Clock in/out at the Trax Time
- Using a Fingerprint
- I.D. Type Card – proximity, magnetic stripe
- Entering a P.I.N. number
While, the Trax Time Terminal has an integrated Ethernet facility which means they can be used in your existing LAN structure, there are also other versions of the Terminal such as Dial Up ; GSM/GPRS and Wi-Fi (WLAN 802.11B)
The unique “Booking Rhythm” feature in Trax, ensures that employees will not make clocking mistakes. The Trax Time Terminal can be configured in several ways. For instance, if using a card, by pointing the card to the left of the Time Terminal the employee can clock in, and to the right side for clocking out. No need for contact. No need to press In/Out buttons. If the employee points at the incorrect side - then the Trax Time Terminal "remembers" what the previous action was, and reminds the employee. So I can't clock in after already having clocked in, for example.
The Trax Time Terminal can be used in conjunction with other clocking concepts. For one person using all of the options in the following might be unlikely - but it does explain just how much work FlexTime has put into the integration of the clocking methods that we offer: So for instance, an employee could clock at a Trax Time Terminal in the morning, then clock out at a P.C. for lunch time. After lunch he/she could clock back in via an Access Control terminal at a door way, and when going home at the end of the day, could use a conveniently located Touch Screen. The next day if he/she is not on site - clocking be effected via a mobile phone - and so on. Therefore all of our clocking methods are interactive with each other.
Other TRAX options

The Trax Gate
For some attendance applications it's important that users enter one at a time and then progress in a particular direction. For example, with VisionTime it is possible for users to record attendance at Access Control devices (as opposed to the more usual Time Recording devices). This can mean a company would not need to purchase both time recording and access control devices. Equally the employee does not need to make a secondary "clocking action". However one concern when employee are clocking at door ways is that they might forget to actually swipe thier card if say a colleague holds the door open as they are entering.
This is an example of how The Trax Gate can bring a greater sense of order to this particular process. The employee thus cannot enter unless he/she makes a clocking action. Another example is whereby there might be a concern about employees entering locations that can be hazardous - or maybe sensitive materials are being kept. Again, the Trax Gate can firstly, permit access only to appropriate personnel and secondly will thereby ensure that the person has definitely entered the area. If used in conjunction with the VisionTime "Who's In?" TV display, it can improve Health and Safety integrity in such scenarios.
