Mobile Clocking

VT Mobile software allows Staff to clock in and out using a Mobile or Cell Phone.

With VT Mobile the user just accesses a "clocking page" on his/her Mobile Phone and chooses to clock in or out. That clocking action is then transferred immediately in real time to a central server where our VisionTime software is located.

If used in conjunction with our Duty Manager system, VT Mobile combines to offer a new method of managing staff that mainly work outdoors. VT Mobile then allows those at HQ to see if the employee is at work - and where.

VT Mobile is ideal for fieldworkers, sales staff, mobile workers and generally any staff on the move. It is also possible that staff might be based indoors some of the time and then work outdoors or remotely on other occasions. So the employee could also use a Time Terminals or any of the other devices or methods available with VisionTime system.

Clocking Options: Flexibility

  • The employee is working remotely in the morning time - so he/she could clock at VT Mobile i.e. the mobile phone.
  • Later if he/she returns to base, then clocking could be effected at an access control terminal, on entering the complex.
  • Maybe it's lunch time, so, just because it's handy, that clocking is done at his/her PC
  • After lunch he/she decides to use a Touch Screen, in the lobby, and when going home at the end of the day he/she uses the Time Terminal outside the Training room to record his "out" clocking. just because he/she happens to be there.

The next day, the employee doesn't need to go to base, so uses the mobile phone to clock in to work - and so on.

That said, we realise that any single organisation, most likely, would not offer so many different clocking options to their employees. Indeed, maybe only one option might be utilised. But you can now gain some idea of the options that are available from using the powerful VisionTime system.
