VT Whos In?

VT Who's in Health Safety

“VT WHO'S IN?” is a presence/absence indication system - allowing staff, managers, switch board operators, safety officers to see instantly who is in/out.

There are two versions::

  •  VT Attendance Indicator - A "read only" instant display of whos is present or absent TV Screens or PCs - More Here
  •  VT Who's In?  This interactive version can be called up at any PC and in real time.

With the VT Attendance Indicator version, the TV display shows the employees name and when the he/she “clocks in” the indicator beside his/her name turns from green to red – and vice versa when clocking out.

The TV display can be used for:

  • Health and Safety purposes to know who is in during an emergency
  • Reception purposes

Clocking Actions

The clocking actions can be made at P.C.s incl. Tablet PCs, Time Terminals with Biometrics (Finger, Hand, Face), Time Terminals with cards (RFID, Mag Stripe, Bar Code), Touch Screens, Mobile Phones, Access Control readers….

VT Attendance Indicator can be used to show attendance for a variety of needs:

• In reception area to show staff and, where relevant, visitors
• As a Health and Safety Device  to show who is on the premises now
• In work locations for staff cover purposes

Meanwhile, VT WHOS IN? shows a different display at PCs – show more information. This is shown as symbols with the various states, for example – if the employee is in, out, if on business, on holidays, on half day holidays, pre-planned absence and not due in.

(In another variation you can see where the employee has gone and – when he/she expects to return).

Apart from supervisors knowing quickly who is in/out, it also is designed to assist staff in general - as anyone can query about anyone in the System.

“VT WHO'S IN?” is the perfect solution to reducing the time wasting caused by Voice Mail Systems. Now you can at least work out if he/she is in/out or even supposed to be in the first place. It is also good for the reception/switchboard staff. If the operator wishes to leave the screen open, it automatically updates to show the employee changing his/her status from presence to absence and vice versa.

Finding Who's In

At the PC you can select three different search types – Search by Name, Search by Status and Search by Department.

  • Searching by Name allows you to run a search for a particular staff member and see if they are currently in or not.
  • Searching by Status allows you to search for e.g. people on holiday, or all those people who are currently present.
  • You can also Search by Department to see the status of all the staff in the selected Department or Sub Department.

Clicking on the “Configure As Default Search” button will save your search settings and the next time you want to run a search those settings will be already set by default.
