Food Manufacturer
FlexTime first installed our system in the legendary Batchelors factory as far back as 1991.
The company is of course famous for it's beans and peas canned products - and who can forget those loveable characters "barney and beaney" from the TV advertsing campagign way back when. Today Batchelors manufactures a wider range of products at it's factory in Dublin - including soft drinks.
At the outset we engaged with the senior management team in order to apply a suitable solution for capturing and calculating fixed hours and shift working for their factory based workers. A card based option was chosen.
Since then Batchelors has moved through every new version of our systems as it has become available.
Ciaran Rowsome Managing Director of FlexTime adds
“ In our very early days, in the 1980's, we originally only focused on flexible working solutions. We realised quite early on, that our experience in that world could also be put to good use in supplying fixed hours and rostering solutions for industries, hospital etc. Indeed it has been noted on many occasion that our solutions are seen to be more flexible and adaptable than other systems aimed at manufacturing – not surprising given our background.”
Geraldine Nathan, has who managed time recording over the years at Batchelors, said:
“We have been using FlexTime Systems in our factory for over 15 years; both their Software and Support is of the highest standard. We have complicated shift patterns – affecting many employees and it is imperative that the Payroll runs correctly each week. The Software is user friendly and saves our department valuable time when calculating the weekly wages”.
