Flexible Working - Research
FlexTime was involved in pioneering Flexible Working Hours in the early 1980s. Since then we have continuously created innovative technology solutions that are specifically geared for the subject. Our systems are now now available in several countries and we welcome requests from new markets.
Earlier Research Projects
Using evidence from individual organisations might be considered to be too narrow or selective. Therefore, FlexTime’s general approach to assessing the benefits which users can gain from the concept of Flexible Working Hours and our System, is to perform serious research over a wider numbers of companies.
We have also taken care to involve eminent academics or in one case the leading Irish Government Research Institution, in the process of Research. This is in order to detach FlexTime’s commercial interest - from the results or outcome of the Research, thereby adding further credibility to the process .
We now refer you to two research studies, based on - FlexTime’s user base and a third survey carried out in the U.S. of the Fortune 1000 companies.
Those studies are :
- The Joint Study between Adelphi University (New York) Trinity College Dublin and FlexTime.
- The Institute of Public Administration for Ireland Study (i.e. the Irish Government using Flextime’s user base)
- Enterprise Ireland Survey - The Irish Government through their New York offices – surveyed major US companies in their attitude to the subject of flexible working hours and their potential interest in FlexTimes systems.
