Oireachtas/Irish Parliament Clocks In....Again...

Following the much awaited General Election in Ireland, the T.Ds. or the Members of the Irish Parliament, are again now using FlexTime's system, to record the count of attendance at the Dail or Irish Parliament. This is so that the Members or Deputies can keep in accordance with the new rules for the payment of expenses, agreed in 2010.
Meanwhile, the 57 Senators at Seanad Éireann - or the Senate had continued to record at the system, after the end of the 30th Dail in February. This is because the current Seanad or Senate does not finish it's term until the end of April. Under the Irish Constitution, an election for the Seanad or Senate takes place not later than 90 days after the dissolution of the Dail. So from the end of April onwards, once sitting days begin again, a new attendance count starts for the Senators in the FlexTime system.
